This Tourism Business Improvement District Advisory Board Regular Meeting is being conducted in a hybrid in-person/virtual format.

  • Recommended Action:

    Consider and discuss the VSC’s customer service training program and provide feedback to VSC on how to attract additional local businesses to participate in the free program.

    Consider and approve the participation in the San Luis Obispo County edition of the Monopoly Board game, presented by Visit SLO CAL, highlighting the Swinging Bridge in the City of Arroyo Grande as an iconic landmark and destination.

    Consider and approve the campaign refresh that was presented by Verdin Marketing at the January 30, 2024, Arroyo Grande Tourism Business Improvement District’s Special Meeting, which will include obtaining additional photo assets and brand creative

  • Recommended Action:

    1) Review, amend as needed, and approve an RFP for marketing, communication, website management, and social media services; and 2) Identify an Ad-hoc committee of no more than (2) two board members to meet and assist with reviewing proposals received and make a recommendation to the AGTBID Advisory Body.
