This Planning Commission meeting will be conducted by hybrid in-person/virtual format. The Brown Act restricts the Commission from taking formal action on matters not published on the agenda. In response to your comments, the Chair or presiding official may:
• Direct City staff to assist or coordinate with you.
• A Commissioner may state a desire to meet with you.
• It may be the desire of the Commission to place your issue or matter on a future agenda.
Please adhere to the following procedures when addressing the Commission:
• Comments should be limited to 3 minutes or less.
• Your comments should be directed to the Commission as a whole and not directed to an individual Commissioner.
• Slanderous, profane or personal remarks against any Commissioner or member of the audience shall not be permitted.

    Approve the Minutes of the December 5, 2023 meeting.

  • Recommended Action:

    Adopt a Resolution recommending the City Council adopt amendments to the accessory dwelling unit ordinance; and 2) Determine that the ordinance amendment is statutorily exempt per Section 15282(h) of the CEQA Guidelines regarding projects involving the adoption of an ordinance regarding second units in a single-family or multi-family residential zone by a city to implement Government Code Section 65852.2.

  • Recommended Action:

    1) Adopt a Resolution recommending the City Council adopted the proposed ordinance amendment; 2) Determine that the ordinance amendment is not a project subject to the California Environmental Quality Act (“CEQA”) because it has no potential to result in either a direct, or reasonably foreseeable indirect, physical change in the environment.

ITEM NO.      1: Temporary Use Permit 23-015; Vairfest June 22, 2024, from 7:00am to 3:00pm; Location – Heritage Square Park – 207 Nelson Street; Applicant – Vince Petrie, Central Coast Corsa


After making the findings specified in Section 16.16.090 of the Municipal Code, the Community Development Director approved the above referenced project for use of Heritage Square Park for a car show event on June 22, 2024. The deadline to appeal this project is at 5:00 pm on January 17, 2024.
