This Tourism Business Improvement District Advisory Board Regular Meeting is being conducted in a hybrid in-person/virtual format.


Approve the minutes of the Regular AGTBID Meeting of February 20, 2024, as submitted.

  • Recommended Action:

    1) Receive and provide feedback on the marketing updates on paid and owned media performance including digital ads, email marketing, social media channels, co-op opportunities with CCTC and website analytics;

    2) Receive Q3 Status Report and provide feedback as appropriate; and

    3) Provide direction on swag items up to an amount of $5,000 as allocated in the FY 2023-24 budget as merchandise.

  • Recommended Action:

    Consider and approve the sponsorship application for $8,000 to craft a zine and advertise Arroyo Grande as a tourist destination.

  • Recommended Action:

    Consider the Visit SLO CAL’s Co-op Opportunities and direct staff to pursue co-ops most beneficial to Arroyo Grande including but not limited to: House of Brands Assets ($7,750), Sojern (3-month option for $5,000), and the Unparking Episode ($10,000) totaling $22,750.

  • Recommended Action:

    Approve the preliminary FY 2024-25 operating budget for the AGTBID and forward to City Council for consideration of approval.
