This Tourism Business Improvement District Advisory Board Regular Meeting is being conducted in a hybrid in-person/virtual format. Please be advised that while the City will endeavor to ensure these remote participation methods are available, the City does not guarantee that they will be technically feasible or work all the time. Further, the City reserves the right to terminate these remote participation methods (subject to Brown Act restrictions) at any time and for any reason. Members of the public may participate and provide public comment on agenda items during the meeting in person at the location identified above, or by registering and joining the Zoom meeting.


  • Recommended Action:

    Approve Minutes of the October 15, 2024 Board Meeting as Submitted. 

  • Recommended Action:

    Receive and File Financial Status Reports for November 2024 with Revenue Received for Tourism Business Improvement District (TBID) Assessments through October 2024.

  • Recommended Action:

    Select a Chairperson and Vice Chairperson for the Arroyo Grande Tourism Business Improvement District (AGTBID) Advisory Board for the calendar year 2025 to preside over meetings and perform duties as directed by the Board and City Council

  • Recommended Action:

    Approve the regular Board meeting schedule for the Arroyo Grande Tourism Business Improvement District (AGTBID) for the 2025 calendar year pursuant to Board By-laws.

  • Recommended Action:

    1) Receive and provide feedback on the marketing efforts, strategic direction and updates on paid media performance; and

    2) Approve strategic direction and paid media budget.

  • Recommended Action:

    Recommend to City Council to amend the Arroyo Grande Municipal Code (AGMC) to broaden the Arroyo Grande Tourism Business Improvement District’s (AGTBID) authority for spending revenues to include public art projects, City beautification, event infrastructure and sustainability projects.
