Given the recent increase in COVID-19 cases in San Luis Obispo County, and in compliance with Assembly Bill (AB) 361, which allows for a deviation of teleconference rules required by the Ralph M. Brown Act, this meeting was held by teleconference.

Chair Maraviglia called the Planning Commission meeting to order at 6:00pm.

Consideration Of Amendments To Title 16 Of The Arroyo Grande Municipal Code (AGMC) Regarding Accessory Dwelling Units; Development Code Amendment 23-001

 

Community Development Director Pedrotti introduced the item and recommended that the Planning Commission continue the public hearing to a date uncertain. 

Chair Maraviglia opened the public hearing. Hearing no public comments, Chair Maraviglia closed the public hearing.

    Staff recommends continuing Item #8.a, an ordinance amendment relating to the accessory dwelling units, be opened and continued to a future meeting with a date uncertain.

Community Development Director Pedrotti provided the Planning Commission with updates on the following projects: 1) Turf Limitation Ordinance; 2) Short Term Rental Ordinance updates; 3) Public Art Guidelines updates; 4) Accessory Dwelling Unit Ordinance updates; and 5) installation of parklets on Branch Street in the Village.


Associate Planner Holub provided the Planning Commission with an update regarding an appeal that was filed and provided a tentative date for a public hearing to review the appeal.
